Things have been a little hard trying to get into a great routine of school in the mornings. We have also had a hard time specking kindly and doing what is asked of us. So, this morning, by about 8:30, I was already pretty frustrated. But, with the help of the Lord things changed, eventually. We did our devotions and then a little school. After some of it, we went outside and did some racing while Finn slept. We ran, speed walked, did high knees, skipped, lunges...and had a great time. We came in the house and Carson said, "don't worry about lunch, mom. We will do it." ???!!!! What?! Carson and Gabe came up with lunch for themselves so I could take care of Finn. And they also cleaned up with out having to ask several times and without talking back! It was so great!
I asked Carson what he loves, how Gabe and Finn love their items and he said his blanket! So, I wanted to get a couple of pictures of them with the items they love! :)
Here are a couple of pictures of some boys that have my heart.
Finn loves his bear that he got from Isabella before he was born, Gabe loves his rags, I mean, um, blankies, and Carson loves his blanket. Carson's blanket is actually mine, my Grandma gave it to me when I was a little older than Carson.
And this one, I love because Gabe is giving the blankie the love it usually gets, with the suckling and all. :)
Not matter what you are going through right now, I hope you remember (as I am trying to also) that God is with you. He loves you. He will take care of you. And also remember to count your blessings! I know it can be so hard sometimes, but be thankful for what you have. There are a lot of people out there who have it a lot worse - that is for sure!
